General Information

Philosophy of the AFLV Awards & Assessment Program

The AFLV Awards & Assessment program is designed specifically to assist councils in achieving the highest level of excellence possible in programming and council management. The documents outline actions and policies of an ideal council.

The process of preparing an award application in and of itself will assist the council in evaluating its programs and services. The submission of an application gives the council an opportunity to have its programs evaluated by outside experts who will provide written and verbal feedback.

Eligibility & Instructions

In order to be eligible your council must have paid your annual membership subscription fee; no exceptions. Please visit the Application Instructions and Helpful Hints Page first to assist your council in completing the awards applications.
