The Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values is excited to announce our Immersion Trip program. These experiences will bring together fraternity and sorority student leaders from around the country in a week of service, immersion, cultural exploration, and values development in developing countries as well as domestic locations. Learning Outcomes for the AFLV Immersion Trip Program:

* Participants in AFLV Immersion experiences will spend the greater part of a week in service in an identified domestic or international location with demonstrated need, as well as the opportunity for students to carry out service in partnership with members of the local community.

• Participants in AFLV Immersion experiences will be immersed in the culture of the host community on both domestic and international trips. Cultural opportunities will provide participants with a true sense of life in the community, and may include sight-seeing, music, dance, and community meals and events depending on the location, host organization, safety considerations for participants, and time available.
• Participants in AFLV Immersion experiences will explore their personal values, the values of their fraternal organization, and the values of fellow participants organizations. Participants will spend time in small and large group reflection and discussion throughout the week, and will complete the experience with new exposure to values in action.
• Participants in AFLV Immersion experiences will develop recognition of the value of using fraternal values to address community needs through civic engagement opportunities.

At this time, AFLV immersion opportunties are open to all undergraduate students. First year graduate students who have previously participated in an immersion experience are eligible to register. Additional situations will be considered on a space-available basis.
