Associate Membership
Associate membership is a special category of AFLV membership available to businesses and organizations wishing to broaden their markets or work cooperatively with the fraternal community. Associate Members represent the supplier/service provider community within AFLV.
Because student leaders of individual chapters and the individual governing councils change on a regular basis, ensuring that your name, programs or products remain in front of students and their advisors from year to year can be a real challenge. AFLV can assist you by providing a wide range of services designed to promote you, your company, and your products.
To be an exhibitor at any of our conferences, you must be an Associate Member of AFLV. Associate membership is set at a flat annual rate of $400.00. This fee provides the following benefits:
Conferences: Associate membership gives you access to exhibiting, sponsorship, and presenting opportunities at our various conferences. Attracting nearly 3,000 students, advisors, and supporters of the fraternal market, our conferences provide showcasing, exhibiting, educational programming, and networking opportunities. Each year we host the following conferences:
- AFLV Central Fraternal Leadership Conference
- National Black Greek Leadership Conference
- AFLV West Fraternal Leadership Conference
- National Cultural Greek Leadership Conference
- National House Director Conference*

Exhibiting: Exhibiting at our conferences is a great way to have face to face exposure with our attendees. The student leaders and their advisors are the key decision makers about who they will bring to campus to speak, what products and services they will buy, and in general, what companies/agencies they will work with.
Showcases: As a member of AFLV, you have the opportunity to submit your speakers and lecturers to showcase at our individual conferences. Those chosen to lecture at our events have the opportunity to perform a 60 minute lecture live at the specific conference chosen for. We have two categories of showcases. Keynote Speakers perform for the entire conference attendance on our main stage. Featured Speakers perform in a time block with two or three other featured speakers, attendees have the opportunity to choose what featured speaker to see.
Advertising: Advertising in the AFLV quarterly magazine, Connections, is a great way to keep your product or service in front of the potential buyers who make you successful. Exhibiting gets you in front of the buyers, but advertising keeps your product or service fresh in the minds of those important decision makers. Market research supports the notion of multiple exposure opportunities to help the consumer remember your brand and your product. Connections has a distribution of more than 1500 readers and subscribers. Advertising is offered in full four color process at very affordable rates with various opportunities for ad sizes and placement.
Sponsorships: There are numerous sponsorship opportunities at our conferences and events. These opportunities start as low as $1000 and can provide that extra boost in exposure for your company, product, or service. Sponsorship opportunities range from individual event sponsorships to product logo placement on things like name badges, pads and pens, and totes.
