Leadership is Overrated!

We get it ... you're a leader! YAY!

You worked so hard to get here, and now—you look in the mirror and don't even recognize yourself. This work is thankless, hard, and sometimes you've gotta be the bad guy.

IT'S OVERRATED!

And we never talk about it! Until now.

It's time to pull back the covers and take a hard look at our leadership, the community we want to change, and fears we face. You wouldn't be here if you didn't want to do the work. So buckle up and get ready to dive in, head first, with some strategies, some fun, and real talk about being a leader!

Get in Control!: Your Role in Making Fraternity and Sorority Life Great

So, now that you’re in a fraternity or sorority, life is great, right?

But have you ever stopped to consider how your role in your chapter is making it truly great? Or worse, could your behavior be destroying it?

This is your wake-up call to all members who are coasting on their status or who are senselessly participating in destructive behavior, like hazing, abusive drinking, assault and poor academics, lack of diversity or just plain don’t get it. Fraternity and Sorority Life will not survive if we don’t actively participate in changing what we do and how we do it.

Can you be a change agent, can you call out the BS, can you live the dream of your founders? Let’s evaluate one of the biggest life-long decisions you have ever made and dispels popular myths about the Greek community.

Let’s define the path to making this experience long lasting and GREAT!

Saturday Morning Keynote

Choosing to Care: Punch apathy in the face to build community

No chapter wants its members to be apathetic—toward the work, each other, or the larger FSL community.

Community ignites loyalty and drives brotherhood and sisterhood, and is built with one simple thing: curiosity. Curiosity is the opposite of apathy.

In this hysterical and motivational keynote, we will talk about how to ask better questions, change the way we hear people’s stories and insights, and adapt the mindset of curiosity.

Let’s stop the apathy and the assuming and start learning about each other because curiosity creates community.

True Community Starts with YOU

What stands in the way of you, your chapter, or council feeling connected to the fraternity & sorority community on your campus?

If “community unity” has become a recurring goal for your organization, it’s time we consider a new way of building relationships and bravely addressing the conflicts we have overlooked to “keep the peace,” but are actually driving us apart.

Together, we'll unpack how curiosity, friendship, and self-care impact our ability to invest our time & energy outside of our organization. In this session, you will reflect on how your personal investment in others is impacting your perception of community and the invaluable power that comes from balancing self-care & showing up.

By taking ownership of how caring for yourself allows you to be present in the moments that matter, you will, not only feel more connected to your organization but, model the way for your members to do the same!
