Awards + ASsessment Committee

Each year, AFLV appoints experienced fraternity/sorority professionals and volunteers to the Awards & Assessment Committee.

The Role of the Committee

  • Judge awards by thoroughly reviewing every application, providing objective measure and feedback, and consulting with councils about awards applications during AFLV Central and AFLV West

  • Assist the Director of Assessment & Awards with the annual review and weighting of awards criteria

  • Advise AFLV for the Awards + Assessment Program and serve as awards consultants

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Serve a one-year term beginning on the date of selection

  • Provide feedback to applicants (if attending AFLV Central or AFLV West)

  • Actively participate in the weighting of awards categories and criteria

  • Awards committee members are full-time professionals or seasoned volunteers in the field of fraternity/sorority advising
    Graduate students are not eligible for this role.
