  • Encourage students to open the application within the online portal ASAP. They’ll want to review each category and each level to determine which they plan to submit for. Questions are updated annually, so logging in early to plan is essential.

  • Decide which recognition opportunities to pursue.

  • Determine the Council Compass achievement level that best reflects their work.

  • Create a shared folder to collect supporting materials throughout the year.

  • Save assessment data, reports, and program examples as initiatives occur.

  • Write for reviewers who may not be familiar with your campus or community.
