ED PROGRAMS REVIEW Committee
Each year, AFLV appoints experienced fraternity/sorority professionals, volunteers, and students to serve on the Conference Educational Programs Review Committee.
This dedicated group plays an essential role in shaping the educational content delivered at both AFLV Central and AFLV West, ensuring that each conference provides relevant, impactful, and engaging learning experiences for student leaders.
The Role of the Committee
Members of the committee contribute by:
Evaluating educational program proposals for AFLV Central and AFLV West through objective scoring and constructive feedback.
Advising AFLV staff and volunteers on priority topics and emerging issues that should be represented in the conference curriculum.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Committee members are expected to:
Serve a term from August through October annually.
Review and score approximately 20 educational program submissions.
Provide narrative feedback when appropriate to strengthen future proposals.
Complete required training, including reviewing training materials and participating in any necessary onboarding sessions.
Meet all deadlines to ensure program selections and notifications are made by early November.
