The fraternity/sorority experience continues to re-emerge from the challenges of the last few years.

As we look to curate our 2025 educational experience, we will give special consideration to the topics below to help address the critical issues and emerging opportunities of this moment.

We will continue to accept and consider proposals on all topics relevant to the fraternity/sorority experience.

Programs Should Aim To:

Increase Students’

  • Confidence to take leadership-based action within their chapters, councils, and communities

  • Confidence to make positive changes in their chapters, councils, and communities

  • Willingness to hold themselves and their siblings/brothers/sisters accountable for high-risk behaviors

  • Willingness to develop themselves and their siblings/brothers/sisters to behave consistently with organizational values

  • Openness to diversity and a commitment to social justice within their communities

  • Confidence to positively impact the world

  • Positive attitudes related to interfraternalism and collaborative interfraternal work

Decrease Students’

  • Tolerance for high-risk and illegal behaviors (i.e. hazing, sexual violence, substance abuse)
